DOP Youth is a youth led organization, ran by high school students, in favor of combatting poverty. After almost a year of operation, DOP Youth’s current members are ready to hand down the organization to the upcoming batch as promised before. Keeping in mind that we are an organization, our movement do not end here.
So what did we do to extend this organizations’ life span? Of course, recruiting new members! 🤩🤩
On September 9 2022, DOP Youth held an informative sharing session. The webinar was intended to present the potential new members regarding the past experiences former DOP members went through, which doesn’t eliminate taking about the hardships faced, learning opportunities, and most importantly, the sense of humanity in helping the community! A QnA session and a short group interview were added to the webinar rundown for those who are interested in becoming a part of DOP.
To say the webinar is a success is an understatement. After facing several problems like having to push the date back to gathering people to join the webinar, all went smoothly despite little rehearsals. We are happy that we managed to reach one of our goals successfully: Gather new members to continue the legacy of DOP!
